The modified analogy: Life is a sieve through which opportunity and people may be retained or lost. However, don’t forget all sediment erodes and in time will pass through as well. Only the truly stable compounds, and hardened gems will remain in the end.

Cease!

Cease!
Not from being but from what you be.
Are you the construction of your own beliefs?
Is your destination based off of traveled streets?
Or did you travel roads for goals to reach?
Or did you travel paths searching for dreams?

Like the moon your eyes share a faint glow
The mind is a river that constantly flows
Should the light die and the river run dry
How will you bountifully grow in this life?

Cease!
Not from being but from what you be.
From following blindly those who take lead.
For letting dictators suggest what you need.
Cease what you are but not who you be.

Happiness is within and all around right? The fire that dies is the will that hasn’t been fed. Throw logs in yourself, stop looking for others to do it. The fire burns, and happiness is the oxygen that burns it brighter.
